in the wheat fields in this district crop that has been knocked down by the rains and wind shows more evi dence of this condition than wheat that is standing up well practically all the wheat that has been knocked down by the storms will be quite badly rust ed said one man who knows speaking on the matter to this paper on tuesday it will only be good for chicken feed on the other hand he pointed out that there are many fields of fine wheat which give promise of an excellent crop unless weather conditions bring on more rust the loss to date is not serious quiet wedding at united parsonage a it should years the number of schools under the mennonite conference in vcanada and the united states gave religious instruction- to over 25000 children in 1939 the tribune learned from mr g schrog minister of the group at glasgow the mennonite conference referred to is separ ate and distinct from the mennonite brethren in christ which organization carry on a similar work mr schrog said the bible school just closed at glasgow mrs alf hoover loses elder brother seven years hard luck as big mirror crashes to pavement from load of furniture f c butler of goodwood may be excused if on monday he burned just a pinch of salt on that day as he was transporting a trailer load of furniture through stouffville a large mirror went flying to the pave ment just as the car was pass ing the brierbush hospital it went into a hundred pieces probably there was a sinsfer reason for this streak of fate to overtake mr butler at this particular point because know ing that seven years bad luck may follow anyone who crashes a mirror the owner might have been expected to collapse on the spot and with such a tempera ment there stood the hospital ready however mr butler didnt collapse but just what he thought is known only to him self nevertheless if he burn ed a pinch of salt the whole affair is wiped out so heres of be one of the best inj had an enrolment this year of j78 with an average
