mr reesor and mr grove were only slightly hurt but the women and young george were rushed to the kitchener waterloo hospital mrs grove received a serious chest wound while george was badly cut about the face and neck by broken glass mr clendenning will bring mrs grove home in the ambulance to day wednesday where she will probably have to be confined to bed for a week or so mrs reesor and i young george will remain with mrs reesors brotherinlaw at elmira for a few days the reesor car is a total wreck while the other car was badly dam aged a criminal charge is iaiu against the driver who is a play frank and erma it was a very enjoyable evening for members of both clubs on friday last musselmans lake was the centre of attraction for the junior farmers and insti- tute where the annual york delighted the leongregation with his tenor voice ballantrae milton forfar put the ballantrae farmers on the map at the aurora horse show by again winning first place with his 2yearold clydesdale filly that to say the least is a model animal of its type the class was trongly contested last year this horse took first place at the stouff ville market fair show and so our farmer has something that has proven itself among the choice of the counttyside mr fred cummings who recent ly sold his house and lot has va cated the premises in favor of the city buyer while fred has pur chased a building lot from thos simpson almost ajcross the way from his old home he will live in camp style most of the summer during which time he hopes to build a new residence mrs cum mings will be away visiting her people for some time this summer it is with general regret that we learn of the resignation of miss marjorie varty as public school teacher her after two years at the head of our knowledge works miss varty has accepted a position on the public school staff in toronto when she leaves us she will return to her home in tweed for the holi day season and will take with her the best wishes of the people
