celebrated his 93rd birthday mr caster was born at goodwood in 1846 but has spent the last 73 years of his life in claremont he was one of a family of ten children of the latejacob caster who was the third settler to come to goodwood the family is remarkable for its longlevity every member but one reaching seventy years mr caster who is the last is pioving no excep tion the family first lived in goodwood on what is now known as the tindall farm later mov ing to the 4th concession from where they scattered to various points mr caster attended the old log school which stood on the four corners cau- field widow of thos j caufield passed to her eternal reward born in pickering ont 72 years ago her maiden name was margaret odonnell the greater part of her life was spent in old ontario and for
