mrs e c pennock in stouffville for the past four weeks was removed to the brierbush hospital one day last week miss cooks condition is still very critical mrs sarah spence of toron to and mrs e c- pennock of stouffville were here satur day visiting their old homes we were very sorry to learn of the death of george cook at his home in newmarket last week george was born here 62 year ago and was the son of late abram cook of this place our pastor rev w s irwin conducted the funeral service mrs billy harwood and two grandsons of toronto are spending two weeks with mrs harwoods brother mr herm learn that miss luella paisley teacher in bloomington school for five years is leaving having been appointed to the staff of the brampton school at an in creased salary miss paisley has been very efficient and com manded a good report from her inspector the school has around 35 pupils trustees warren rae lu tindall and willis wideman will be charged with the task of selecting a new school marm for september 1st bethesda several carloads from here spent the weekend at stayner attending the camp meeting mr and mrs lloyd pike of sutton had tea on monday with mr and mrs isaac pike the community picnic will be held next friday july 21 in ratcliffs park mr nat brillinger who has been visiting with relatives in the community returned to his home in winona this week mr and mrs louis brillinger visited with mr and mrs geo leary in gormley saturday evening we are sorry to report that murray allin son of mr and mrs fred allin is nursing a sore foot we hope it will soon be better so he can
