frank dobson of ux bridge celebrated her 95th birth day on december 29 the aged lady is not in very good health but hopes to recover and looks forward to reaching the century mark she is the grandmother of mrs harold a sanders formerly of stouffville new years day sunday and the monday holiday were very quietly observed in town fine winter weather prevailed with good sleighing and wheeling merchants not only report better christmas trade this year but an improved trade for after christmas now we may look for the january sales and everybody back to business again in the rush of advertising over the holiday season a cordial greeting had been pre pared for our genial jeweler mr hector pollard but did not find its way into the newspaper for which we are sincerely sorry mr daughter and soninlaw mr and mrs lester s locke and with their son and daugh terinlaw mr and mrs walter e lee islington they were accompanied by mr and mrs nathan forsyth the event was to commemorate the 40th wed ding anniversary of mr and mrs lee and the twentieth anniversary of mr and mrs forsyth naturally both cou ples enjoyed immensely the festivities and entertainment provided during the
