read and the pastor was pre sented with a cash gift for which he gave a suitable reply mr gordon bolender had the misfortune to dislocate some of the bones in his hand one day this week which necessitated it being put in a cast as it is his right hand it will handicap him in his school duties we hope he may soon have use of it again there was a large congrega tion at the mbc church on hospital last week mrs preston and family called on him on sunday he has been nearly blind for some time we were pleased to see at church the large attendance on sunday morning mr westcott gave a very inspiring message next sunday we will have a guest speaker at the usual hour at 11 am owing to anniversaiy services a t mt pisgah a number of our yps have been attending the school of methods held in aurora united church for the past three weeks under the direction of the northern section of the tor onto centre presyterial this thursday there will be a ban quet in connection and a good program including slides and some of the peoples church toronto will take part times must be looking up mr harry wellman is sporting a new truck master garson elson of stouffville is holidaying with his in the township this year the date has not as yet been definitely settled this community wafc much saddened by the death of mrs clarence wideman at the hos pital at stouffville after a short illness at the early age of 26 she will be greatly missed in church and community work be ing a valued member of the wa and in sunday school work she was greatly beloved by all who knew her the funeral on friday october 7th was attended by hosts of relatives and friends and the floral tributes were many and beautiful interment was made in peachs cemetery with service in the church con ducted by her pastor rev mr mcewen the sympathy of all goes out to the relatives and friends in their sad bereave ment atha mr reg ramer had sunday dinner with mr norman lehman we wish our plowmen the best of luck
