it appears ex pedient to accede to the said request and to fix the assessment of the said lands buildings plant and equip ment of the said arm for the said poriod therefore the municipal council of the corporation of the village of stouffville enacts as follows 1 that the annual assessment of the above mentioned lands includ ing the business assessment toge ther with the building plant and equipment now or horoafter con structed erected or used upon or in connection therewith shall bo and the same is hereby fixed at the sum of twontyfivo hundrod dollars 250000 for the years 1931 to 1935 both inclusive and save as aforesaid the said lands buildings plant and equipment from timo to tlmo situate upon the said lands withia the said municipal corpora tion of tho village ot stouffville shall bo and the same are hereby exempted during tho years 1931 to 1935 both lncluslvo from all munici pal assessment and taxation of any and every kind whatsoever beyond tho amount to bo ascertained in each year by application of the yearly rates levied by the municipal cor poration aforesaid for all purposes in each year to tho said fixed assess ment 2 tho assessor of tho said mun icipal corporation of the said village of stouffville is hereby authorized and required to so make this assess ment and returns as to conform to the provisions of this bylaw 3 nothing in this bylaw con tained shall apply to or affect taxa tion for school purposes and local improvements 4 this bylaw shall come into force and effect from and after the passing thereof after the same has received the assent ot the electors of the said municipal corporation of the village of stouffville read a first and second time in open council on the second day of december 1930 notice the above is a true copy of a pro posed bylaw ana in tho case of the assent of tho electors being ob tained thereto it will he taken into consideration by tho council after the expiration of one month from date of tho first publication being the 4th day of december 1930 tho votes ot tho electors of the said village of stourrvlllc will be takon thereon at the annual election on january 5th 1931 2 that on the second day of janu ary 1931 the reeve will attend at the clerks office at 130 oclock in the afternoon to ap point persons to attend at the polling places and at the final summing up of the votes by the clerk respectively on behalf of tho persons interested in and de sirous of promoting or opposing the passing of tho said proposed bylaw 3 that tho clerk of the said mun iclpallty shall attend at the coun ell chnmber at one oclock in the aftornoon on the cth day of janu nry 1931 to sum up the number of votes given for and against tho said proposed bylaw and to do- claro the rcult thereof passed this
