of uxbridge twp the late mrs watson passed away in beaverton where she had resided for some years she suffered a stroke from which she never rallied she was a woman of fine sterling character and her beautiful life and devotion to church work were wonderfully portrayed by the pastor of beaverton united church at the burial service mrs watson was 07 years old and was a sisterinlaw to councillor geo dowswell and mr william watson of stouffville and david watson of goodwood she is survived by two sons at home and one daughter a resident of manitoba there also survives two brothers messrs isaac and emerson sheffield undertakers at dodsland sask and one sisier mrs bert lehman of saskatoon her husband predeceased her nine years the sheffield brothers are well remembered in stouffville isaac having numerous and very beau tiful and ihe attendance at the funeral was unusually largo there being a wide circle of friends and relatives preseat from outside point a resident in stouffville for the past year rev george arthur baina borough passed away at his home on the 10th concession south on sun day evening following a protracted illness he had been confined to his bed since april the funeral on tuesday afternoon took pjace to stouffville cemetery the service be ing in charge of rev h s warren and rev e morton the latter be ing an uncle to the bereaved widow the late mr bainsborough was 53 years of age and for twenty years had served faithfully as a methodist pastor on the charges at gore bay englehart palgrave and three sta tions in muskoka the latter being at walters falls where he fell per manently iii and was forced to re tire a man of fine sterling character he enjoyed many friends in the min istry who did not forset him in trouble born in lincolnshire eng land he came to
