ripe and much of it would have been cut last week but for the wet corn cutting time is also at hand but no attempt has been made to do any cutting owing to more pressing work and because there is garden for 30 years there are oyer one hundred- figs on his trees this season mr beckett brought us two or three specimens to prove his contention that figs are actually growing in ontario the natural shape of the fig as picked off the tree is some what like that of a pear of couse it is green quite pnlpy and seedy the imported fruit we buy from the stores comes to us in various shades of brown no appeal entered against voters lists in whitchurch mnrkhnni or stouffvlllo not a single appeal was filed against the voters lists for the corporation of stouffville or for the townships of whitchurch and mark ham for the year 1926 with the township clerks w h clark and gam davison or with j sdough erty for stouffville since the lists prepared by the township clerks are used only for municipal elections the electors probably do not thing it worth the trouble to enter appeals any more another reason this year for their being no appeals is probably due to the confusion caused by the federal election lists many people completely ignored the local lists in their interest for the elec tion list drs- ira herbert freee consultation hours dr ira freel to 12 am mon wed 4 fri to 9 pm
