sharpe had just dressed to go for a drive which had been ar ranged by his nurse who stated that he had shown no signs of mental aberration he had been suffering from a nervous breakdown caused by the strain of severe service at the front samuel simpson sharpe was the son of mr and mrs george sharpe and was born at zephyr scott town ship in 1873 he received his edu cation at uxbridge public and high schools and later at the university of toronto and at osgoode hall in 1903 he married mabel crosby of uxbridge he followed the pro fession of law in that town for a number of years and was a major in the 34th regiment in 1908 1911 and 1917 he was elected member i to the house of conions for north ontario in 1916 he raised and i6 jit hlantpdql too overseas tne h6th battalion ujxa dl
