swimming lessons under the direction of rev john mutch the chaplain of the troop long distance swims diving rescue of drowning persons were among the stunts in which most of the boy scouts became proficient some of the younger boys visited the camp on wednesday and fri day afternoons and enjoyed the bathing etc and on civic holi day some of the parents and other friends were callers at camp connaught and all express ed pleasure at the outfit of the camp which included the stretch ers of the ambulance corps the red- cross flags on headquarters tent were a ready indication of the location of the bov scout camp and the scoutmaster was kept busy most afternoons expla ining the bov scout movement to the callers- at the camp the heavy rains on monday and tues day made everything rather damp when the team came to take the camp outfit back to fjpout head- jquarters at stoiffville the camp committee met last week and made up the expense account which came rather heavier than was
