II in honour of soldiers who sacriï¬ced their lives while sewing their country. Three generations of the Leafe family attended the Stouffville service. Marion Leafe recalled the luly day many years ago when the telegram came bearing the news that her l9â€" year-old brother was missing in action in France, his body never to be found, Her husband Ian, a serviceman himself, lost what seemed like "half of his school mates". Their daughters. Stouffville residents Mary Leafe and Francesca Wright. were in attendance along with their grandchildren Carson Weeks 5.
