All LCBO and beer stores will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas and New Year's eves and will be closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1. York Region Transit and VIVA holiday service begins on Dec. 23. On Dec. 24, 26 and 27 it will be operating on a Saturday holiday schedule, on Dec. 25, Jan. 1 and 2 a Sunday holiday service schedule, both with modified TTC service, and on Dec. 31 a Saturday service with extended service on some routes until 5 a.m. and free rides after 7 p.m. York Region waste depots are operating on modified hours for the next two weeks and are closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1. Whitchurch-Stouffville: All town facilities are closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1. Municipal offices are closed from Dec. 24 to Dec. 27 and Dec. 31 to Jan. 2. The Leisure Centre gym and pool as well at the Stouffville Arena are open on modified hours on Dec. 24.
