13 | Stouffville Sun-Tribune | Thursday, December 22, 2016 To our community we wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy Holiday Season well into the New Year. As the Managing Director of O'Neill Funeral Home in Stouffville and Highland Hills Funeral Home and Crematorium in Gormley I would like to thank Mayor Altmann for participating in "Take your Mayor to Work Day". At the Annual Mayor's Dinner held at Sleepy Hollow Country Club and hosted by the Chamber of Commerce on March 30, 2016, Mayor Altmann, on the spot, created an auction in which he would donate eight hours of his time for a work placement to the highest bidder with proceeds going to the charity of their choice. After a lot of fun activity, action and friendly competition, SMC was victorious in the auction and made a very generous donation of $1,500.00 to Camp Oochigeas, a camp which provides the opportunity for children with cancer to experience the joy of outdoor camping. Ron Carlton, President of SMC gifted us, their community partner, with the "Take your Mayor to Work Day" hours. It was a pleasure to have Mayor Altmann spend a day with us at both establishments, O'Neill Funeral Home in Stouffville and the Highland Hills Funeral Home and Crematorium in Gormley. We are proud to be a partner and friend of SMC who continue to enhance our community on so many levels. It is very much appreciated. Sincerely, Patrick Leblanc (Managing Director) Ron Carlton, President of SMC gifted O'Neill and Highland Hills Funeral Homes, their community partner, with the "Take your Mayor to Work Day" hours.
