AMENDMENTS TO FEES UNDER THE BUILDING CODE ACT The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville will consider amendments to the current user fee by-law, which includes fees authorized by the Town's Building Bylaw. As required under the Building Code Act, Section 7, a decision of Council to pass an updated Fees & Charges By-law will be made on December 20, 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber. The public Council meeting will include materials by Watson and Associates Ltd., related to the building permit fee amendments. Prior to passing a bylaw in relation to a change in fees any person in attendance will have an opportunity to make representations with respect to this matter. A Council report will be available prior to the public meeting, and includes information setting out an estimate of the costs of providing the services, the amount of the fees, and the rationale for imposing such fees.
