Stouffville's Matt Giunta and Newmarket's Nick Foti, local contestants of last year's The Amazing Race Canada, will be special hosts at next week's race held for local youth in the downtown Stouffville area. The race runs from 1 to 4 p.m. starting at the Leisure Centre at 2 Park Dr. where teams of two will complete challenges and race back to the starting line. Prizes include a pool party, gift cards and more. Giunta and Foti ­ who finished second place in last year's national competition ­ will be the race starters and will participate in awarding prizes to local winners. An entrance fee of $14 is required for a team of two. Contestants must be between the ages of 13 and 18. Spectators are welcome. Pre-registration is today.
