Ill-Naming] CAMP ROBIN HOOD By Aleena Dipede On September 20, 2007 SDSS's bright-eyed Grade Nina's attended Camp Robin Hood tor a day at tun, cooperation and leadership. About two-huntted and nine grade nlne students gathered in grows with each of their leaders. Early in the morning the grade nines lomd their leaders in the cafeteria and eagerly headed for the buses outside the school. At Camp Robin Hood there was an endless list at gamesandacflvitiestorthestudentstotry. Asthe day went on. each group participated in ditterent activities. Many involved leadership and group cooperation. The Chocolate River Activity included an imaginary commitment. Students crossed the “chocolate river†using imaginary marshmallows which were actually mini-mats. This activity among others such as Rock Climbing; The Wall; The Blind Maze; and many more allowed the students to work together to make the day successful and tun. Camp Robin Hood was an opportunity for the grade nines to make many new friends, and meet lots of when. on September 1, 1980. he announced he was having difï¬culty breathing and was torced to stop In Thunder Bay.
