The resulting documentary, Rubber Side Down, will be shown at the Lebovic Centre for Arts and Entertainment- Nineteen on the Park on Oct. 28 at 7 pm. Visitors can drop by anytime during the event; said Micole Ongman, manager of recreation at the Department of Leisure Services. “There will be a haunted house, henna tattoos and some arts and crafts.” Last year’s event drew more than 200 children along with their parents, friends and siblings, she said. “It was a great time for all of us. The Youth Council did the setup and ran the event. They all dressed up and had some goodies for the children passing through” Organizers are looking for volunteers to assist prior to the event, as well on the day itself. “It is not too scary, more on the humorous side, so it's very appropriate for the younger children Parents are welcome to accompany their children and the site is accessible for wheelchairs," said Micole.
