Stouffville's Dalton Kellen is joining the Andretti family of motorsport racing fame. Andretti Autosport confirmed this week that Kellen has joined its Mazda Road to Indy roster. The 21-year-old will drive the No. 28 K-Line machine for the Indianapolis-based team during his sophomore season in the Pro Mazda Championship presented by 000- per Tires. With one podium, two top-five and nine top-10 finishes, Kellett finished 10th in the 2014 season, the Canadian's rookie year, The 'Ibronto native raced in the Goober Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda for two years before his graduation to Pro Mazda. During four years of racing karts. he was awarded rookie of the year honours and other scholarships. Kellett is a busy boy. He plans to graduate with an engineering degree from Queen's University in Kingston in April.
