Facing many of the top teams, the club earned its first silver in Cobourg July 16 and 17 after falling 5-4 against Campbellford in the final. They opened the event with an 8-4 win over Cobourg before falling 5-4 to Campbellford.They rallied to defeat Belleville 3-2 on a three-run triple in the bottom of the seventh inning before routing Napanee 10-2 to earn a berth in the final.
