After finishing in a tie with the host Whitby Wolves for second place in their division dur- ing mmmm play, the Stars were left out of the, mifinal picture aftef losing out on a tiebreak ure. ‘ Buoyed-by a strong netminding effort from Francis Tenney, the Stars opened the touma- ment with a 0-0 tie against the Wolves. The Stars then played the North York Storm and received another strong netmind- ing effort from Breanne Douse to skate ofi' withaZ-O win. Octavia Bullen and Katelin Phills each scored once for the Stars. Juliana Hutton and Maddy Frogley each earned assists. Ontario, N.Y. girls here for tourney Facing the Sarnia Junior Lady Sting in their thixd and final round-robin outing, the Stars suffered their first loss of the tournament 2â€"0.
