Steven Wright had a passion for the game of hockey and was rewarded for his efforts as a volun- teer with theWhitchurch-Stoutfville Minor Hockey Association after coaching the Stouffville peewee AE Clippers team to the coveted Ontario Minor Hockey Association title last spring. Mth a new minor hockey sea- son just axound the comer, the 50- yeanold Stouffville resident’s love for the game will be sorely missed as he passed away at home last weekend. Mr. Wright was involved in the association for more than seven years starting as a volunteer coach in the mites and tykes program. In following years, he served in various capacities as a head and assistant coach, recalled Greg Smith, asso- ciation second vice-president rep program.
