The troupe also provides an annual scholarship to a Stouffville District Secondary School stu- dent who is continuing his or her post-secondary education in the performing arts, as well as to the Student Music Scholarship “The whole premise around (this is) putting on a fancy show everybody could enjoy and the secondary effect is that we can give back financially,” Mrs. Andrews said. For the past two years, Music Mania has been held at Christ Church Anglican's Great Hall, after many years in the old Stouffville District Secondary School gym- nasium. “This year we needed a bigger venue and decided to go to the new high school," Mr. Lightfoot said. “We’re expecting a bigger audience this year because of this milestone anniversary.” I The golden anniversary marks a return to the high school stage.
