But that may one day change â€"â€" in Muitchurch-Stoumille at least. The Town of VVlfitchumh-Stoufivifle and WhiStle Radio are working on a service agreement that would, in the event of a major power failure or disaster, enable the station to broadcast information on evacu- ation details, shelters, food and water dis- tribution points, road closures and power restoration estimates. A service agreement was created last week. but rejected by council because they were not comfortable with WhiStle Radio’s inability to broadcast to all of Whitchurch- Stouffville. “I always feel when a service agree- ment is entered into between a town and an organization, every resident should be a beneficiary of that service agreement,” said Councillor Ken Ferdinands. “I’m a little oonoemed the Whistle Radio signal is very Stoufi'ville-centric and does not include all ofWhitdimch-Stoufl'ville.
