Roberts scored twice for the Clippers and Josh Burkholder added the other marker. The series is scheduled to resume in Richmond Hill Friday and return to the Stoufl'ville Arena Saturday at 6:10 pm. ‘ Morad takes karflng checkered flag Stouffvilie resident Daniel Morad raced his way to the Rotax DDZ class championship in the Florida Winter Tour karting series after capturing the ï¬nal two races of the series in Ocala, Fla. last weekend By winning the title. Morad, 19, qualiï¬ed for the 2010 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals with the site and date yet to be determined SPORTS STOUFFVILLE as of press deadline. Tï¬is will mark the second year in a row Morad has achieved this feat. In six Florida Wmter Tour events this past season, Morad won ï¬ve events. Minor hockey tourney coming to Stouflvllle Minor hockey teams from across the province will converge on Whitchurch Stouflvifle starting Fri- day for the Whitchurch Stouffville Minor Hockey Association’s March Tournament for A and AE entries. Six age group division titles will be at stake including novice A, minor atom AB, atom A, atom AB, minor peewee A and AB Thé host Clippers will have entries in each division. The action will take place at the new Clippers Sports Complex and the Stouffville Arena on Ninth Line north. Games are scheduled to begin Friday at 8:45 a.m. and continue throughout the day into Saturday and Sunday. The Championship ï¬nals take place Sunday at the Stouffville Arena starting at 12:45 pm. Opening the series Saturday. the Clippers’ offence stalled in a 2-1 loss. Sam Atanackovich scored the lone Stouffville marker. 'Brent Menzies played a sound game in goal. With' the second game played the following day in Stouffville, the Clippers’ offence continued to sputter in a 1-0 overtime loss. _ The series was to have resumed yesterday in Sharon.
