From March 10 to 21, 35 boys from Stouï¬ville District Secondary School's senior boys' rugby team will be heading overseas to take part in training sessions at England's Mir- ï¬eld School and in Brecan, Wales, as well as play six to eight exhibition matches against the home teams. “They’ll come away with an awful lot,†said Tom Miller. a member of the fundraising committee. “The life experiences, these kids come back with are unbelievable. This is some- thing they will remember for the rest of their lives.†Thiswillbetheseconddmein three years the senior boys' rugby team has gone overseas. The ï¬rst trip was in 2007, which resulted in the team ï¬nishing their season with Ontario A/AA gold. They repeated that feat in 2008 and in 2009, the team ï¬nished second in Ontario. The money raised will be used to pay for the boys' flights as well as busing to activities and uniforms. All players will be billeted by home- town rugby players.
