Jamie Gregory scored the game’s lone try and Matt Raguseo, who was named the tournament’s MVP, added the con- vert. Opening the tournament against Thomas A Stewart and playing in a downpour, the Spartans cruised to a 14-3 win. Raguseo accounted for all of the points with a pair of tries and two converts. Raguseo is part of the national team program. Spartans take Trent tourney, snap curse Facing Trenton High School in their second game, the Spartans overcame an 11-0 deficit and got a try from Raguseo on the final play of the match to emerge with a 14-11 win and a berth in the final.
