of the 5th concession and the vandorf sideroad and hard as it is to believe she is in her 94 th year when she grasps your hand and welcomes you to her home you feel welcomed for she does it with the same bounce and en thusiasm as she does almost everything miss mcarthur was born on roxborough st toronto nov 12 1879 her parents came from scotland and her father a building contractor often entertained sir john a macdonald at the home of sir david and lady macpherson the table on which sir john a used to place his hat is in the van dorf livingroom my father she explains was a beautiful stouffville rev james carder conducted the funeral service dec 1 from oneill funeral home for chester pattenden a lifelong resident in the whitchurch stouffville area who passed away nov 28 mr pattenden son of delia preston and alfred pattenden was born in vandorf aug 14 1907 thirty four years ago he married irene storry gravel hill near lincolnville they eventually settled in gormley where they resided for 25 years before moving to market street stouffville 3 years ago in 1968 mr pat tenden retired from the canadian national railway after 29 victoria street stouffville was in her living
