simcoe as conducted by mr john roberts lib member for the riding leaves any election prediction completely blurred mr roberts admits that polls in general must be accepted with some reservations there were three questions concerning the party leaders- 1 what kind of a job do you think pierre trudeau is doing as prime minister with the following results good 285 percent fair 322 percent and poor 383 percent 2 what kind of job do you think robert stanfield is doing as leader of the opposition and the results good 22 percent fair 473 percent and poor 275 percent 3 what kind of job do you think robert stanfield would do as prime minister and results good 202 percent fair 463 percent and poor 313 percent commenting on these results mr roberts says that people tend to feel either strongly for or strongly against mr trudeau he admits that the prime ministers standing has slipped but that mr stanfield has not succeeded in making a very strong im pression how would they vote the question
