the stouffville nursing home were successful in receiving diplomas in practical nursing during 1971 they were mrs has blum mrs aldine sinclair mrs lauretta plaskitt mrs joy smith mrs gertrude mcdowell and miss wendy g- ibson in addition diplomas in catering were awarded to mrs nora wilcox and miss sally annison within the home itself many activities were carried on much to the enjoyment of the the whitchurch centennial centre a carol service at goodwood united church a christmas party at the home and a visit from santa claus arranged by the kinnettes the residents also appreciated the carol singing by stouffville students home a d ministrator mrs katherine cun ningham was suc cessful in graduating with a diploma in business ad- ministration spon sored by associated nursing homes in ontario we feel our achievements have been many mrs cunningham said and we look forward to the challenge of 1972 new meeting date the meeting of the pickering twp rural ratepayers asso ciation
