for his love of nature one of his favorite pastimes was to take long quiet walks through his 200- acre farm now preserved by the metropolitan toronto and region con servation authority he watched saplings grow into enormous treees during his many years on the property admiring their girth and height each season was a new experience for him harvest time saw him either gathering his fruits and vegetables with pride in their perfection or gazing from the top of a hill drinking in the beauty of the autumn foliage many hours were spent in his flower garden riotous with color all summer long in his earlier years he farmed some of the hilly land with horse and plow predeceased by his wife annie williams in 1940 mr storry is the last member of his immediate family his brothers charles and newton and sister mrs george rogers hannah having predeceased him several years ago surviving are cousins george and milton storry of stouffville and nine nieces and ssphews pallbearers were stanley
