years ago louis c murphy passed away on friday march 19 at his home on william street mr murphy who retired in 1966- had been a secondary school principal for over thirty years he was born at hilton ontario and graduated from queens university prior to coming to stouffville in 1937 mr murphy had been principal at creemore he continued as the head of the stouffville school for fourteen years after relin quishing his position here he taught at oak- ville and cockrane the deceased was a past president of the lions club and a member of the masonic order the scottish rite and shriners mr murphy had
