mr and mrs olman nursery facilities open late emma davis dies in west naicam sask mrs emma davis of naicam saskat chewan passed away in st pauls hospital saskatoon jan 12 she was born emma aletta sherven oct 13 1892 in spillville iowa the seventh daughter of ole and henrietta sherven her mother passed away while she was a young child in 1910 she moved to canada with her father and grandfather finally settling in what is now known as the lewis lake district she married ace davis of stouffville in 1923 together they ex- panded the homesteaded land where son eric now lives all six of their children were born there in 1943 mr and mrs davis moved to leroy where they owned and operated the hotel until retirement in 1950 after a brief stav in stouffville they returned to saskat chewan and settled in the town of naicam she is survived by three sons clayton of saskatoon jack of quill lake and eric of naicam two daughters mrs fred jones margaret of yellowknife nwt and lois of pentiction bc one brother eric sherven of beach grove b c two sisters mrs a espeseth of kinistino and mrs t smith of melfort twentyone grandchildren and two great grandchildren she was predeceased by her husband
