misunderstanding about a suggestion on the part of the business personel of stouffville regarding the changing of the wednesday afternoon to an all day monday closing let us see what it would actually mean in oen hours we have had during the winter and up until now monday tuesday thursday and friday from 8 am until 6 pm 40 hours wednesday from 8 am until noon 4 hours saturday from 8 am until 10 pm 14 hours or a total of 58 hours under the new proposal we would have wednesday thursday and friday from 8 am until 6 pm 30 hours tuesday and saturday from 8 am until 10 pm 28 hours making an equal total of 58 the shopping hours of the week would be the same as we have been having but the merchants would have a full day day instead of a half day for personal activities there is no desire to create a hardship for anyone neither we believe is there a business man in town who would not at any time try to accommodate a friend or customer in an emergency cooperation is the keynote of friendly relations mutual benefit and business success if a trial of the new hour arrange ment proves unsatisfactory there will be nothing under a mutual agreement to prevent a return to the old those business
