note with team competitors exhibiting con tinued personal improvement jake silverthorn 10 became the first swimmer from stouffville to qualify for provincials his firstplace time of 12426 in the 100m butterfly gave him top 10 ranking in canada in his age group silverthorn also had two seconds in the 100m backstroke and 50m butterfly and two fourths in the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke kevin boehnke 14 recorded all best times and managed to break the 40-sec- ond mark in the 50meter breaststroke with a thirdplace time of 3826 boehnke was also 10th in the 50m freestyle and 11th 200m individual medley beth wideman 16 also went under the 40second mark in the 50m breast- stroke with a fourthplace time of 3989 wideman also finished fourth in the 100m breaststroke eighth in the 50m
