school by hannelore volpe staff writer morning traffic snarls at glad park public school and fears for the safety of students have led the school to institute two kiss n ride lanes now when more than 100 vehi cles show- up on snowy or rainy mornings students have a safe route into the school kinder garten students are accompanied into the school by older student and parent volunteers the situation came to a head last year when parents such as kathy moyer and pam mandich noted parents trying to stop in the schools alreadycrowded parking lot to let their children off but that meant the youngsters had to negotiate their way through the parking lot and between school buses the line of vehicles coming into the school between 8 and 810 am came to a virtual standstill many mornings much to the frustration of parents ms moyer and ms mandich worked together with other par ents on the school council and the schools previous principal gail snyder and viceprincipal natalie blais to try to solve the problem when the weather is bad many parents who usually let their chil dren walk to school give them a ride some markham parents drive their children to glad park to attend the schools french
