whitchurch- stouffville have lost a friend funeral services were held in markham thursday for norman clifford moss described as a selfless indi vidual the 89yearold died last tuesday the owner of markhams bm motors mr moss was president of the unionville kwanis club founder of visually important people of the heritage centre and a volunteer for big brothers and the canadian national institute for the blind he was a also a strong sup porter of the salvation army a fundraiser for markham stouffville hospital and a volun teer at participation house a facility for adults with multiple disabilities cliffs many selfless contri butions of time energy and financial support to the salvation army in markham will never be forgotten pastor capt rob pollett said from the fund- cliff moss ing of a new van for our family services and church ministries to the countless hours spent manning the christmas kettles to his local involvement in regu lar church activities cliff had a lasting impact in a very deep and personal way though in his later years he was not able to physically give of himself he continued to support us with his encouragement and laughter mr moss had many friends at participation house a facility for adults with multiple disabilities he volunteered for us from the getgo in the early 70s participation houses day service manager jackie booth said cliff had helper written all over him he was generous and had a great sense of humour nothing was too much for him cliff made a difference in the community mr moss lived in stouffville during the 1990s his great sense of humour kept him going his daughter vi faucet said his sense of fun kept him going for a long time along with his daughter and her husband paul faucet mr moss leaves his loving wife bertha and other children ray and his wife pat and lynda hes also survived by six grandchil dren and 15 great grandchildren and a host of friends mr moss was predeceased by isobel his beloved wife of
