is ontario premier dalton mcguinty in one of the skits in this years music mania pro duction of everything old is news again the music and variety show featuring whitchurch-stouff- ville residents is back for its 45th year it is presented by the stouffville united church couples club around 150 cast members are in the last couple of weeks of rehearsals at stouffville district secondary school the show offers a music dance skits including one with the premier and a black light number it weaves present day music and events with classics from the past the offbeat skit crew will take its own look at local and world events and everyday life new this year is the news desk which ties events from the past to todays happenings sharron baxter is this years skits director and says local politicians are always prime targets her husband david was skits director for two years the dozen or so members of the skits crew are not the most shy and retiring of the show theyre willing to dress up in all kinds of outfits take on strange personalities and deliver outrageous lines among the returning per ennial favourites are lorraine french bruce and bunny burton and jim brazier at least two businesspeople rob reid of reids antiques and consignment shop and suze joyce of the healing force will lend their talents to the skits the reason people gravitate toward skits is simple accord ing to
