hed win at least one of the categories but wasnt prepared for what happened next his film was chosen as a winner by both the youth and adult juries the sperandeo family was then stunned to learn that getting to know charlie was also bringing home the grand prize topping over 50 films in all categories this win means the sperandeo family once again flies to italy this time to naples in december to accompany the film to a competition winning top prize shocked us steve sperandeo marcellos father said just getting him marcello there was enough going to the italian festival was much different than sprockets where the youngsters are told in advance what theyve won in italy there was nailbiting ten sion as participants waited to see how the films were rated against the com petition when marcellos name was called for the second time said mr sperandeo marcello was shaking marcello attended grade 6 at orchard park public school this year while making his second film he wrote the script in one
