concession company limited 407 etr is the private sector consortium which has purchased from the province of ontario the right and the obligation to develop design build operate maintain repair and toll highway 407 from the queen elizabeth way in the city of burlington to highway 7 east of brock road in the city of pickering the highway 407 east partial extension includes the segment of the highway between highway 48 and highway 7 east of brock road under the agreement with the province and the mandate created by the highway 407 act rso 1998 407 etr has initiated detail design for a new partial interchange between the highway 407 east partial extension and the markham bypass the proposed highway 407markham bypass interchange is to be located just west of reesor road in the town of markham region of york the detail design for the markham bypass interchange is being prepared concurrently with the detail design for the segment of the markham bypass extension north of the interchange to highway 7 which is being carried out by the region of york this project is being undertaken in compliance with the conditions of approval for the highway 407 east partial extension specified under the environmental assessment act orderincouncil no 170498 the conditions of approval require that design and construction reports dcrsj for the proposed works be submitted to the ministry of the environment moe at least 45 days in advance of construction the dcr for the construction of the subject highway 407markhanl bypass interchange dcr e1sf is being submitted to the mqe for placement in the public record on june 6 2003 and is available for review at the moe central region office 5775yonge street 8th floor toronto- ontario m2m4j1 a copy of the documentation is also available at the markham community library 6031 highway 7 southeast of markham road and highway 7 the public review period wiu terminate 45 days following initial placement of these notices after
