rick vanderlinde is it possible to avoid becoming a hyprocrite 1 ts tough not being a hypocrite these days take the environment i see myself as a friend of mother nature but sometimes im not i wont spray my lawn with pesticides but i drive a mini so while i dont like to aimlessly fling poison around just to eradicate a few dandelions ill gladly guzzle gas spew ing extra doses of carbon monoxide into the air for the convenience of all that additional cargo space so im a hypocrite its the same with health care i cant comprehend people who flood our emergency wards to check out the flu that costs us all but im the type to wait so long to see a doctor a simple problem could grow worse forcing more expensive procedures again a hypocrite finally recognizing youre a hypocrite is in a way therapeutic but finally recognizing youre a hyp ocrite is in a way therapeutic can make grandiose socially responsible statements such as i believe beauty pageants are an irresponsible example to our young women only to take your daughter to a britney spears concert half the battle is recognizing youre a hypocrite realizing that in this com plicated society with so many legiti mate opinions on so many subjects youre bound to be a hypocrite at some point the only way out is by having no opinions at all the more i think about it the more hypocritical i am i abhor violence but i love hockey i believe in freedom of speech but i wish ernst ziiridel would shut up i despise any hint of racism but still laugh at eth- nic jokes of course this hypocrisy isnt all my fault its not a genetic defect orany- tliing its societys fault after ail when wesvere kids we were taught to do as a 1 i say not as i do who can blame anyof us for being so hypocritical our leaders are hypocrites premier mike
