systems what suggestions do you have to make the transit system better v getting the buses to run on time and to the sched ule gn sundays they only run once an hour and thats far too long to be wdtirig ive used the transit system for many years and there had always been the special bus for students that came fiveor ten minutes early to avoid the huge crowd on the bus it worked out really well for kids that had to be at work by 330 pm because ft didnt stop at other bus stations to pick up more passengers but this year it comes really late or not at all ft was a really good service we want it to be regular or at least notify us if ifs not coming so were not waiting for it and freezing in the winter john morgan and adam cowling fuse the markham transit occasionally but its mostly the ttc for melt would help if the drivers have schedules it was area nuisance recently when they changed the schedule ijh up in stoufiville hot knbwingthe schedule and when i asked the driver he didnt know it either also i wish the bus shelters were heated graceallison j suggestthey get together and fix the schedules so you dont have to wait 20 to 30 minutes just asking for spmelcoordination would do it for me im formerly from unionville and now live in oshawa but my doc tor is still here so it takes me mbrethan two-and-a- half hours to get here id like to see some integration so i can take the go the ttc arid markham transit without having to wait too long and of course to not have to pay the extra 2 when you switch fromthe ttc to markham transit would be great blaineneely idlike to see more frequent buses if i miss one for whatever reason ill be late for work as there is not y another one for ah homv also on friday night the last bus is at 1 am i live in markham work in toronto and i gist off work after midnight soj think they should have that 1 aril bus afi through the week i also have to pay mat extra 2 and thats no good either with markham transiti university stouffville mayor wayne emmersbn is looking into making both warden 1 avenue and vivian road safer especially at intersections living as i do on warden avenue i can tell ybu that the intersections of warden with vivian and davis drive are unlit with speed limits of 80 kmh on the roads arid the risk of collision is high traffic lights are needed at these intersections i fourway stop signs are of little use at night espedally since the intersections are so poorly lit washboard on the roads as drivers approach the intersections would be an improvement but theres no denying that traffic lights are the best s waytogo with improved paving there would be a tendency among drivers to speed on these roads traffic lights which would be visible from a long distance would alert drivers that they are
