seven years and 1997 has been no exception the geoffrey crescent re sident started working on this years superb display the last two weeks of september ido the roof of the house and the eavestroughs before it gets too cold i used to start later but that made it much harder if he were home all the time spang estimates it would take him at least three weeks to put all the lights in place the colorado spruce he bought in the early days have grown from eightandahalf feet to 20 feet tall the first time i put the lights on them it took about three to four strings now two or three have nine strings and i trimmed all the trees in september while many people in the community stop by to ad mire his incredible display of lights he also attracts quite a number of visitors from out of town i get people from schomberg and last week people were here from cookstown people drive by here all the time he uses 4700 bulbs which are turned on at around 530 pm until midnight every day until the first week of january it blows the hydro bill but i accepted that before i put them on 1 just enjoy doing this ring in the new a reminder that whitr- churchstouffville families are invited to
