equestrian world the opening day will begin with the cor show jumping finals from 8 am to 5 pm the cor dressage finals will begin at 930 am and conclude at 5 pm the evening entertainment will be the mixed prince philip games event from 6 to 8 pm on saturday the invitational individ ual show jumping competition will kick off at 9 am and run until 3 pm from 930 am to 3 pm the individual dressage competition is followed by the east canadian ppg championship and invitational division b competi tion the day will close with a 10 buffet dinner the final day of the tournament of champions will feature the invitational team show jumping competition and the invitational dressage competition all day and the spectacular invitational dressage kurs in the evening cost per show jumping and dressage class is 20 and kur participation is 10 the cost for prince philip games is 100 per a team and 50 per b team the deadline for allriders is aug 18 local mountain bike riders finish second local extreme mountain bikers lucas anderson and adam irving finished second after 24 hours of adrenaline the local athletes participated in 24 hours of adrenaline a mountain bike endurance relay held at hardwood hills in barrio last weekend the race was a 15kilometre circuit and the riders switch with their team mate after each turn the relay began at noon on saturday and continued until noon on years since a stouffville boys peewee fastball team laid claim to a provincial title but last weekend this years stouffville entry did it the stouffville boys peewee fastball team captured this years title after defeating napanee twice in the threeday double elimination tournament in aurora the stouffville team won the first game 72 against the previously unbeaten napanee squad to force a second and deciding game in the decisive match the stouffville team left little doubt who would prevail as they routed napanee 123 to take home this years provincial gold medal keying the stouffville teams success was a homer by jonathan ferguson and strong pitching in the final games by scott mcdougall the stouffville team opened the tournament on a strong note as they thrashed belleville 120 in their second game against orleans the stouffville team had another strong game on offence and defence as they prevailed 60 facing napanee for the first time in the tournament stouffville suffered their lone loss when they suffered a 30 setback the stouffville team however rebounded from that bit of adversity as they concluded roundrobin play by hammering waterford 111 to reach the final greg delgarno
