st tribune may 31 1995 p 5 letters parents salute staff at childrens house day care centre dear editor after having read the recent criticisms of the childrens house day care and our day care system in general i felt com pelled to write some positive thoughts having overenrolled themselves past government standards is not an accept able situation however with this in mind i think it is essential to recognize the qual ity of care received at the childrens house from the moment that we engaged in our lengthy search of public and private day cares we knew that the childrens house and its staff were special for the two years that our children have attended they have received nothing less than extreme warmth and concern in a safe and happy environment any social ization difficulties experienced by our chil dren have been dealt with positively during many periods of illness the staff has exhibited genuine concern for the wellbeing of our children their profes sional training in first aid has benefitted our family as i am certain it has for others there are good reasons that the chil drens house has received so many requests for care it is most unfortunate that anyone has had to be disappointed with a loss of a placement at the daycare but we appreciate all the efforts made to quickly remedy the situation we salute the dedication of a staff that could work so well under such strenuous conditions thanks so much loren and terry porter stouffville fax your letter to the tribune at 6405477 ballroom dancing a fun way to stay fit dear editor i was very pleased to learn
