well short of the land mass needed and is counting on forced provincial expropriation of several properties and farms to the south in its bid to have the dump located there in its letter to the iwa the company states the area including the hwy 48 landfill and adja cent lands to the south extending to hwy 47 satisfy the minimum area criteria for the iwa site during the iwas first screening stages more than 18 months ago sites in whitchurchstouffville were scrapped from the dump list because they failed to meet criteria necessary for housing such a massive landfill site iwa chief engineer jacinta obrien told thetri- bune in november 1992 that all three w sites were taken off the list because they no longer met the minimum size requirement and because there was too many highlevel
