family reunion in vernon wanda fisher andjter daughter elisa 11 had the holiday of a lifetime in august when they visited wanda v mother tather and grandmother who moved to vernon bc last year the fishers had originally planned to join the family there permanently this year but have had to postpone their move until they sell their main street west home neither wanda nor elisa had ever flown before an experience wanda described as pretty exciting the biggest thrill was coming in at night and seeing toronto from the air on our way home it was breathtaking they turned the lights off inside the plane so it really was an incredible sight on the outward journey they flew to calgary and then took a smaller plane to kelowna we went up about 10000 feet over the rockies which we could see really clearly she said all the homes in the vernon area were built into the side of the mountains and they all had incredible panoramic views of lakes and mountains it was just like looking through a
