named most valuable player in the cd final the buttermakers donated 100 of their winnings back to the track fund in the drd flight the woodbridge bullets bested uxbridge dominion auto 228 to take the title while oshawa bay sports beat the greenbank hillbillies 112 in the masters division championship game the hillbil lies also donated 100 of their 300 second prize money to the track fund i the rowntree buttermakers seniors who lost the masters semifirial 93 to bay sports gave their 150 in winnings to the fund as well r the sdss scully wags whose shocking pink jerseys made the fashion statement of the weekend finished second in their pool in the dd class but fell 70 to the claremont classics in the playoff round the senior angies eatery squad dropped two of three games played missing the masters playoffs the angies junior crew won one of three games played in their dd pool the stouffville tar babies also lost two of three to drop out of dd play off contention the claremont blazers won two of three games in their dd pool but still failed to advance the stouffville thumpers took two of three games in dd pool play then fell to the uxbridge lions 72 in playoff action the stouffville sideliners and stouffville spring lakes tigers each lost both dd pool games played the claremont classics who took their dd pool lost the semifinal match up with the bullets 1311 in cd play the victorious buttermakers lost their opener 119 to uxbridge river valley but came back to beat the etbbicoke vikings 147 before thumping dante pizza 2 14 in the playoff round the buttermakers took bridlewood 159 earning the right to face the red sox in the final the red sox beat the stouffville as raiders 144 then defeated the markham brodies 94 before falling 53 to bridlewood in pool action the sox then edged uxbridge river valley 43 before dropping the title match to the buttermakers the raiders lost both games played j sod turning sef for june 28 theyll break ground for the long awaited stouffville community track on thursday june 28 as the track committee holds an official sod turning a gala ceremony complete with the stouffville district secondary school sdss band will see
