37yearold francesco paolo colicchio the local fire hall is a shrine of invaluable informa tion and wonder mr colicchio is the chief fire commander in rome italy and was in stouffville last week to visit his uncle and one of the first things the trim darkhaired visitor wanted to do was see how a smalltown volunteer fire department operates he was very impressed with what he saw mr colicchios un cle joe colicchio said in an inter view last week he thought fire chief bill brown ran a sound department mr colicchio who has trouble speaking english told his uncle that stouffvilles firefighting operation is a bit behind romes in some areas but he added that given the contrasting sizes of two centres such disparities could be expected rome is a city of some 6000000 people and there are 11 fire sta tions throughout the city mr colicchio said but there are also 15000 volunteer fire departments similar to stouffvilles across italy overall he felt operations here were excellent joe said he really likes stouffville and he would like to move here in the future at 37 mr colicchio is one of the youngest commanders of fire operations in romes history introduced to the trade by his father and grandfather who were both firefighters mr colic chio has spent the last 18 years fighting fires and he takes pride in the fact that hes working hard to keep wedding bells linda ross daughter of bill and doris ross rr 3 stouffville and mark davis son of lynda davis of toronto were married june 3 in bloomington gospel church lin da is the granddaughter of mel and muriel thomas of parkview village
