markham hereby enacts as follows bylaw no 2237 as amended is hereby further amended as follows 1 the minimum side yard requirements as set out h section 61 of byaw no w2237 are hereby deleted as they apply to al r2 r3 r4 and r4s zones and the fodowing provisions are substituted therefor a the minimum side yard requirement for any single family dweing in an r2 r3 r4 and r4s zone shal be as folows i for a single famfy dweing of the one storey the minimum side yard requirement shal be 12 metres on each side and ii for a single famsy dwelling of more than one storey the minimum side yard shal be 12 metres on each side for the first storey plus an additional 06 metres for each storey above the first storey with such additional side yard being measured from the exterior wall of the upper storey 2 notwithstanding the provisions of this bylaw any single family dwetng in an r2 r3 r4 or r4s zone existing on the date of the passiig of this bytaw which dwetng would have compied with al of the requirements of bylaw no 2237 as amend ed including section 61 thereof but for this bylaw amendment shal be deemed to compy with the side yard requirements provided for in paragraph 1 of iks bylaw 3
